Sapa O'Chau Social Enterprise Hotel is our latest social initiative by our world award-winning social enterprise to train disadvantaged youth in hospitality so that they can exit from the poverty cycle. Qualified trainers empower our youth with hospitality skills and on-the-job training.
Our social enterprise hotel provides a one-stop service for our guests. The range of services provided includes accommodation, café, trekking and homestay booking, handicraft workshop, and volunteering experience.
Sapa O'Chau Social Enterprise Hotel is located next to Sapa Lake and conveniently located beside X6 supermarket. We provide free flow filtered water, free wifi, free toiletries, TV with satellite channels, private bathrooms with a water heater in each room. ATMs are just a short walk away. Local food can be found in the new market less than 1 km away. The bus station is located next to the new market.
Our front facing rooms have great views of the lake, Mount Ham Rong, Mount Fansipan and the city. The price of our rooms ranges from USD35 to USD45 per night. More than 51% of our profit goes to support our disadvantaged youth. We spend about USD 100 per youth per month for them to board at our boarding facility to participate in our youth guidance program. In 2017, we supported 55 youths. In 2018, we are able to support 70 youths.
We have launched a new environmental initiative to reduce the use of plastic bottles. Everyone can get to enjoy free flow filtered water at our new water-cooler station. You may wish to purchase an aluminum refillable bottle from us at cost price to enjoy this privilege. We also use refillable bottles for our shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
