New Tour
Day 1: Sapa – Silver & Love Waterfall – Ta Phin (L, D)
You will meet your guide at the Sapa O’Chau Café at 9:30 am. After a short drive we will leave Sapa Town and follow the road as it climbs to Tram Ton Pass; it’s the highest pass in Vietnam, at 2047 m. On the way there you will have many perfect opportunities to enjoy the view of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range. Coming back down from the pass we will stop and leave our motorbike behind to explore the area of the Golden Stream and Love Waterfall. We will walk for about 2 km through the jungle to reach this waterfall. While walking, you will be able to see the local cardamom plants, which are used for medicine and cooking. After the Love Waterfall we will stop at the Silver Waterfall. Here you will have some time to climb the steps next to the waterfall, to experience the best view of the waterfall and the area around it. Then we will drive back to Sapa Town to have lunch.
After lunch we will continue on smaller roads until we reach Ta Phin village. Here you will join the hands-on handicraft workshop for the rest of the day. This will give you the opportunity to learn about the art of the Hmong handicraft and gain some hands-on experience.
We will spend the night at a Red Dao homestay in Ta Phin, where you can relax in a herbal medicine bath. The Red Dao people are famous for their knowledge of the local plants and their use in treating all kinds of illnesses. At the homestay you will have the opportunity to ask your host about the local medicines.
Day 2: Ta Phin – Sau Chua – Hang Da – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Sapa (B, L)
After breakfast, your guide will take you further up the mountains to Sau Chua and Hang Da. On your way you can take in the breathtaking view of the mountains, rice fields and valleys around you.
We will continue to Lao Chai, a vibrant Hmong community where we will have lunch at the Sapa O’Chau homestay. Here you can meet the Black Hmong people and compare their way of life and customs to the Red Dao people of Ta Phin.
After lunch we will drive from Lao Chai to Ta Van on small roads through the paddy fields. You can watch the local people working in the rice fields. Don’t be surprised if a chicken or a buffalo wants to cross the road in front of your motorbike! After a relaxing drive through Ta Van, we will return to Sapa, where we will arrive around 4 pm.
Our motorbike tours are very flexible. You can ask your guide to stop any time you want to take a photo or take a closer look at the mountain scenery or the village life. In this way, you will be able to see many different aspects of life in Sapa.
Your safety is very important to us. Your driver will be very experienced with driving on the mountain roads around Sapa, so you can enjoy your time here in a safe way. We try to always use roads that are in good shape, although sometimes the ride can still be a little bit uneven.
